Guides and course marshals are drawn mostly from the surrounding upland barangays, work that pays more steadily than the farming that dominated this stretch of the highlands a generation ago. There’s no restaurant on site to speak of, so groups either bring catering as part of a package deal or plan a stop afterward — Sugbo Mercado’s night-market stalls in IT Park or one of the sit-down places near JY Square are the common choices for a meal on the way back down the mountain.
