Lory Loft

Lory Loft is a hillside viewing deck in Carmen, on Cebu’s northeastern coast, built for one purpose: putting visitors above the tree line to look out over the coastal plain below. Carmen itself is a farming and fishing municipality — a stop many travelers pass through on the way toward Bantayan and Malapascua rather than a destination on its own — and the loft’s appeal is less about built amenities than the fact that there’s little else competing with the view.
