African Savanna Tour

The African Savanna is a zone within Cebu Safari and Adventure Park in Carmen, north of Cebu City. Instead of a fenced walking path, the enclosure opens onto planted, savanna-style ground where zebra, wildebeest, and antelope move freely, and a guided tram carries visitors into the habitat rather than around its edge.

• The tram tour is guided — a handler talks through the terrain and the animals as you move through the enclosure, closer than a standard perimeter path allows.
• Ask the handlers about the park’s conservation work with these species; it gets more coverage on the tour than in the marketing copy.
• Go early morning or late afternoon. The animals are more active before the midday heat sets in, and the ride is more comfortable for it.

It’s one stop within the larger Cebu Safari and Adventure Park, not a standalone destination — plan it as part of a full park visit rather than a special trip on its own.
