Cambais Falls

Guide to Cambais Falls in Cebu, Philippines.

Cambais Falls sits in the hills of Alegria, part of the limestone karst belt that runs through southwestern Cebu and feeds most of the waterfalls and canyoneering routes in this stretch of the province — the same geology behind Kawasan Falls and its canyoneering circuit a short drive away. The falls run in two tiers, each with its own milky-blue, mineral-clouded pool set against pale limestone rock.

  • Two distinct tiers, each with its own swimming pool and character.
  • Cliff-jumping spots range from easy to genuinely committing — check water depth and ask locally before jumping from the higher points.
  • A fern-lined jungle trail leads in, easy enough to navigate without technical gear.

Waterfall and canyoneering tourism is one of the main income sources for towns along this stretch of southwestern Cebu, alongside farming and fishing. Cambais draws a smaller crowd than the well-known Kawasan circuit nearby — quieter, but with fewer facilities on site.
