Suba Beach

Suba Beach sits on the mainland coast of Daanbantayan, the municipality that anchors the northern tip of Cebu and serves as the jump-off point for boats to Malapascua Island via Maya port a short drive away. The beach itself is quieter than that gateway role suggests — a stretch of white sand backed by coconut palms, with none of the resort density found closer to the port. Like much of northern Cebu’s coastline, the local economy here still runs primarily on fishing, and the beach reflects that: more working bancas pulled up on the sand than beach clubs.
