Attraction

Kartzone Cebu

Outdoor go-kart racing circuit suitable for recreational and competitive karting.

Type: activity

Kartzone Cebu opened in August 2001 along F. Cabahug Street in Panagdait and has run as Cebu City’s main go-kart circuit for more than two decades since. The track is 660 meters long and 14 meters wide, asphalt, laid out clockwise through seven turns — enough technical variety to matter for competitive drivers without shutting out first-timers.

The karts come from SODIKART, the French manufacturer, in single-seater, twin-seater, and — for more experienced drivers — SODI RX8 configurations, all running a simple two-pedal setup. First-time drivers sit through a safety briefing and instructional video before getting on track; helmets and balaclavas are mandatory and available for rent, with height and age minimums enforced.

Beyond walk-in racing, Kartzone runs karting clinics for youth, functions as a racing school, and hosts autocross and motorcycle events — part of Cebu’s small but active local motorsports scene, not just a tourist stop. A briefing room and lockers make it workable for corporate team-building or a group outing built around actual competition rather than a scenic backdrop.
