Danasan Eco Adventure Park

Danasan Eco Adventure Park covers 133 hectares in the highlands of Barangay Danasan, Danao City. What started as a simple recreation area built by a local Cebuano family has grown into one of Cebu’s larger outdoor parks, developed with an explicit emphasis on environmental conservation and on creating livelihood for the surrounding community rather than just building attractions.

The park sits roughly two to three hours from Cebu City and covers a wide range of activities. On the higher-adrenaline end: the SkyBike (a bicycle pedaled across a high cable), the Skydrop free-fall ride, ATV trails through the mountain terrain, and wakeboarding facilities set up for beginners and advanced riders alike.

For a slower pace, there’s a three-drop waterfall system for trekking, along with horseback riding, rappelling and caving. The grounds also hold swimming pools, mountain viewpoints and camping areas, with overnight stays ranging from air-conditioned rooms to tents. Between those two ends, Danasan covers most of what a highland adventure stop in northern Cebu can offer in one visit.
