Danasan Eco Adventure Park — usually just called Danasan Adventure Forest — covers roughly 133 hectares in the highland barangays of Danao City, about two hours from Cebu City on mountain roads. Danao’s uplands have a livelihood history that has nothing to do with tourism: the city has long been known regionally for small-scale, informal gunsmithing, a trade separate from the eco-park economy that Danasan and similar ventures now bring to the same hillsides.

The activity roster is built for people who want to move fast: ATVs on the mountain trails, multi-stage ziplines through the canopy, a sky bike for balance, wall climbing, and rappelling off natural rock faces. None of it is staged for looks — the terrain does the work, which is why the trails are rated by difficulty rather than uniform for every visitor.

Beyond the built courses, the park sits on genuinely varied terrain: a three-tiered waterfall, three caves, freshwater springs, and a man-made lake used for kayaking and river trekking. The upland forest cover here is part of what’s left of northern Cebu’s mountain range, and stretches like it function as watershed for the lowland barangays below — worth knowing if you’re wondering why the park markets itself as “eco” rather than just “adventure.”

Because the drive alone runs close to two hours each way, plan for a full day or an overnight stay. Lodging ranges from air-conditioned units — the Caida and Mahogany rooms — to dormitory-style housing for larger groups.
