Ka-Tinggo Falls cuts through limestone hill country above Catmon, the same karst terrain responsible for most of the waterfalls scattered across Cebu’s interior. The stream drops into a basin deep enough for cliff jumping, reached by a short trek through jungle foliage. As with most of Cebu’s inland falls, upkeep runs on barangay-collected entrance fees rather than a private operator, which keeps the trail maintained without turning the site into a commercial park.
- The basin is deep enough for cliff jumps and a proper swim, not just wading.
- Trails get slippery after rain; water shoes with real grip matter more than they might seem to.
- Weekdays are quieter than weekends, when the falls draw more day-trippers from nearby towns.
