Foressa Trails occupies a stretch of upland forest in Cansomoroy, Balamban, on Cebu’s west side about ninety minutes from the city via the Transcentral Highway. AboitizLand developed the park to International Mountain Bicycling Association standards when it opened in 2017, laying out roughly 17 kilometers of trail — a 6-kilometer loop for first-timers up to a 15-kilometer advanced route, plus a separate technical section locals call the Black Diamond.
- Start on the shorter loop before attempting the Black Diamond section — the grading holds up, and the technical course punishes overconfidence.
- Tree cover breaks at several points along the ridge, opening onto views west toward the Tañon Strait side of the island.
- Book a V-hire from Ayala Center Terminal toward Balamban via the Transcentral Highway rather than driving unfamiliar backroads — the trailhead access road isn’t well signed from the highway.

South Cebu is the island's adventure-and-heritage coast — the Oslob whale sharks, the Kawasan canyoneering, the Moalboal sardine run, and the Spanish-colonial towns along the southern road.
