Oslob Heritage Park

Oslob Heritage Park sits at the town center, a short walk from the harbor where most visitors arrive for the whale sharks — and it makes a case for staying an extra hour on land. The Cuartel, a Spanish-era garrison built to defend the coast from Moro raids, stands in ruin next to the Immaculate Conception Parish Church, built from cut coral block, the standard construction method for nearly every coastal church raised along Cebu’s south road during the Spanish period.
