Cebu Safari and Adventure Park sits in the hills of Carmen, about an hour north of Cebu City, on 170 hectares that make it the largest zoological park in the Philippines. The animal collection is the core of it — more than a thousand animals across roughly 120 species, including giraffes, zebras, and tigers, spread across zones that include an African Savanna exhibit built for open sightlines rather than cage-front viewing. In a municipality where upland farming is still the main livelihood, the park has grown into one of Carmen’s biggest tourism draws. The adventure side runs alongside the wildlife rather than as an afterthought: one of the longest ziplines in the country cuts 1.3 kilometers across the property, with views over the Carmen highlands and the coast on a clear day.

On the ground, ATVs cover the rougher terrain, a sky bike track runs above the treeline, and a giant swing handles the drop-and-scream crowd. Trekking trails cut through forested sections and an orchid garden for anyone who’d rather walk than ride. The park is built for a full day rather than a quick stop — trams move visitors around the property, there are several dining options on-site, and camping or overnight stays are available for those who want to stretch the visit past sunset. Between the White Lion Safari zone and the zipline run, there’s enough ground to cover that most visitors end up choosing between wildlife time and adventure time rather than doing both at an unhurried pace.
