Badian Canyoneering

Badian’s canyoneering route is the reason the town appears on nearly every Cebu itinerary that covers the south. The trek works downstream through a series of canyon pools, rock jumps, and short rappels, finishing at Kawasan Falls — a three-tier waterfall that’s the actual payoff most people are booking for. The water along the route runs a distinct turquoise, a result of limestone dissolving into the stream rather than any added color.

• Cliff jumps range from a few feet up to roughly ten meters, with operators grading routes so groups can opt out of the higher jumps.
