Overview

Port of Tagbilaran (UN/LOCODE PHTAG) is Bohol’s busiest seaport, operated by the Philippine Ports Authority through PMO Tagbilaran. The port sits in Barangay Booy, roughly 2 km from Tagbilaran city centre, and handles the bulk of passenger traffic between Bohol and Cebu, Siquijor, and long-haul destinations.

A 2021 PPA terminal upgrade added a dedicated fastcraft berth alongside the existing RoRo vehicle ramp, improving throughput for OceanJet and SuperCat’s high-frequency services.
