San Antonio de Padua Parish serves Tuburan, a fishing and farming town on Cebu’s west coast facing Negros Occidental across the Tañon Strait — the mirror-image coastline to the more visited east side of the province. The Diocese of Cebu named it one of the parishes observing the 2025 Jubilee Year, the Church’s “Pilgrims of Hope” program, which makes plenary indulgences available to visitors who complete the prescribed rites here, alongside the parish’s ordinary role serving Tuburan’s baptisms, weddings, and fiesta calendar.
