PapaKit's Zipline

The zipline at PapaKit’s Marina and Fishing Lagoon in Liloan runs 800 meters on a dual cable, among the longer such rides in Metro Cebu, launched from a platform that puts riders above the resort’s fishponds and out toward Silot Bay. The dual-cable setup means two riders go side by side, which is the main reason it works for couples and families rather than solo thrill-seekers alone.

The route crosses the aquaculture ponds and mangrove fringe that line this stretch of coast — Silot Bay and the towns around it have run brackish-water fish farming for generations, and the ride’s vantage point is really a view of that working coastline as much as a scenic flight. The mangrove strip along the way does double duty as nursery habitat for the fish farms and a buffer against storm surge, which is part of why patches like it get left standing even as ponds expand around them.

Safety runs through trained staff who check harnesses before every launch and brief riders on posture beforehand. On-site, the zipline pairs naturally with the horse ranch and wall climbing PapaKit’s also runs, so it fits into a longer visit rather than standing alone as the reason to come.
